In order to act on applications to the Master, Doctoral or Certificate Programs, you must complete the online application to the Graduate School according to the instructions posted at the Graduate Studies web site. The appropriate fee must be paid before an application can be considered. Additionally, you must send the several items listed below directly to the Departments Graduate Committee. To be considered for September 2007 admission with department funding, your complete admission packet must be received no later than February 15, 2007. Applications received after that date will be considered for admissions, but funding may no longer be available. The core strength of our program is the intellectual creativity and scholarly activity of our faculty. We seek graduate students who wish to take advantage of working closely with their professors. Applicants should review the faculty web page, where the complete CV of each faculty member can be found. In their cover letters, applicants should explain how their research interests fit with the expertise of our particular faculty. The following items must be
