Welcome!
Welcome to the homepage of the Political Science Graduate Student Association (PSGSA) at the University of Cincinnati! We hope this site will provide information on our graduate students, facilitate communication between fellow students, establish a sense of community, and encourage students to become involved in decisions that affect them. Our goal is to create a supportive environment for graduate students in the pursuit of academic excellence and professionalism in the study of political science.

What is PSGSA?
PSGSA is one of the thirty-six active graduate student associations at the University of Cincinnati aiming at improving the professionalization and socialization of the graduate student community.

How Do We Do It?
- We meet and discuss the issues of common interest such as graduate student office space, plans of study, etc.
- We have a PSGSA representative at the graduate committee that meets to discuss issues related to the graduate program.
- We seek funding for our graduate student activities such as:
- attending regional and national professional conventions.
- inviting on campus and meeting with distinguished professors and experts.
- We organize our annual end-of-the-year party (depending on the funding available).
- We attempt to facilitate the relations and cohesion between graduate students and faculty which, we believe, is one of the strengths of our department.
