Center for Integrated Homeland Security and Crisis Management

            The Center for Integrated Homeland Security and Crisis Management focuses on the policy and intergovernmental challenges posed by the new domestic security requirements of homeland security.  This Center has access to faculty and researchers skilled in policy analysis, intergovernmental management,  as well as strategic and international security.  Because Homeland Security requires interdisciplinary cooperation, the Center maintains works closely with a network of other research centers at the University of Cincinnati and throughout the nation.

            The Center was introduced to the Homeland Security Community by a Joint Critical Infrastructure Protection Conference at the University of Cincinnati December 12, 2006.  This Conference was sponsored by Ohio Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Ohio Department of Agriculture.  A variety of federal, state, and local experts discussed how to implement the National Infrastructure Protection Plan
